Our team includes 5 oral surgeons, with most extractions performed by Dr. Sergio Villafan and Dr. Rafael Robles. Simple extractions are also handled by Dr. Jesara López and our general dentistry team, and children are seen by our pediatric dentists.

Yes, almost always. If there is space in our schedule, we can perform the evaluation and the extraction on the same day to save you an extra trip.
Extractions are done under local anesthesia: you are awake and the area is numb. With simple local anesthesia you can drive yourself home. If your case needed a different option, we would explain it at your evaluation.
With simple local anesthesia, yes: you can come alone and drive back to California after your procedure. If your case needs something else, we will tell you at your evaluation so you can plan the trip.
A dry socket typically causes intense pain 2 to 4 days after the extraction. If you experience this, or if you have a fever over 38°C (100.4°F), contact us immediately via WhatsApp.
Yes. After your treatment, we will send a detailed post-op care guide in English directly to your WhatsApp, so you know exactly how to take care of the area.
Stick to a soft, cold, or warm diet for the first few days. You must avoid hot, hard, crunchy, and spicy foods, as well as seeds and carbonated drinks.
Discomfort and swelling are normal on days 1 and 2. The swelling usually peaks around day 3 or 4, and then it will start to go down.
